A HOODZ TALE
For more than 20 years, Lord Kay Bond has proven that he is more than just a DJ.

into a commodity and a booming industry---- the business of Hip-Hop. If you,

than perhaps "from a window in your memory" you recall "Jakada". Lord Kay Bond's first remix single, released in 1999 then "Who am I", which stayed on
the college charts for more than 24 weeks and became an instant local hit.
A native of Albany, New York, "Kay-Bond" became fascinated with the artistry of Hip-Hop back in 1984 when he (then known as Kid Luxury) was the
front man for a neighboring Albany break-dancing group " Treacherous Breakin'
Mob" (TBM). It was after one of their intense practice sessions that Kay-Bond
went home and watched Grand Master Flash on MTV, scratching up Micheal
Jackson's "Billie Jean" and immediately became enthralled, shortly after
deciding that he'd rather Dee Jay. Hence, over the years of his career he has complied a long list of entertainment business accomplishments, some of which
are --- production of singles and/or albums; negotiating recording contracts with mid-to major level companies; producing as well as performing in the group
"Sivilze Hoodz; the formation of Hoodz Radio, a live weekly internet podcast
show; producing numerous live shows of varying magnitude and audience demographics for fund-raising activities; and maintaining a well-organized contact base within the entertainment industry.
