Singer & SongWriter

LaRayne

LaRayne was born in OC, California, February 15th. From the moment she was born, God maped out her future for success. Not your typical girl, she was blessed to be raised with her grandparents, who were pastors in a church. In LaRayne's early years, it was in church, that her distinctive vocal style was nurtured. "I remember getting infront of everyone in church to sing the only hymn I knew by heart at the age of 6 yrs. and thinking to myself, I can do this forever." It was than, that LaRayne knew she wanted to make a career of her First Love.

As the years past, LaRayne prepared for the long road ahead of her, by singing in the church choir and joining the choir in school to strenghten her unique soft and sultry voice. She also, discovered a new talent while in middle school, her love of writing. "I wrote in my diary all the time growing up, about all the issues I was facing, but when I was in 8th grade, my english teacher said I was a talented writer and encouraged me to take her after school poem class. It wasn't long after that I figured out how to convert my poems into lyrics. It's been game on ever since, I never stopped writing music".

In 2005 LaRayne made an album called Love Letters, in which the majority of the songs were written by her and produced by the talented Elliot Ness. LaRayne's song "Make You Mine" aired on San Diego's 1 station for Hip Hop and R&B, Jammin Z90, on the After Hour Hot Spot. That, was only the beginning of what was to be, the future of new R&B Soul. She later on opened up for Kem from Motown Records at Spreckles Theater in San Diego and other artist such as Reggae Legend, Don Carlos at the Belly Up Tavern in 2007. Since than, she has been living out her dream, doing what she loves the most.

Be on the look out for this up and coming artist. This songstress gift lies not only in her lyric's but in her voice...
