Who is LADEN?

Band Bio:
The Indie Rock group, LADEN, has come onto the scene with music that rocks your soul. Carrying unquestionable and deep Christian lyrics, the songs speak to the crowd at every show. Each song is uniquely flavored, keeping your attention the entire time. Unbelievable vocal strength, sweet guitar tone, and locked in rhythm round out a great on stage performance. Off stage the 5 members of the band are truly “laden” with a heart for serving Jesus Christ. Given their passion for their inspired music and more exposure, LADEN is destined to make an impact on the music scene, maybe even the world.
Quick Facts:
When did you become LADEN?
August ’05, so we have been together for about 12 months, although some of us have been playing music together since high school, which is 8 years ago.
What are the name and ages of the members of LADEN?
Jared Miller-26, Doran Woods-26, Josh Sebren-20, Josh Ginn-23, Mike Tellier-22
What does LADEN mean?
One of the meanings of laden is, to carry. The reason we chose the name LADEN besides the fact we all thought it sounded cool, we passionately want to have people get lost in our music, and in turn get lost in Jesus our Savior. Once that happens, people can be freed of life’s burdens. That is what songs like “Let Go,” “Save Me,” & “Walking Away” on our EP are all about.
When did you release your EP?
February 24th, 2006, and we sold over 300 units in less than a month. We have had over 14,000 “total plays” out of almost 8500 views of our myspace.
Any other interesting facts about LADEN?
Our entire EP has been played over a period of several weeks on the Scribe Music Show Podcast. We won the first Battle of the Bands that we participated in, and have been talked about twice on the Lightforce program, which airs on 89.3 KSBJ in Houston, Texas.
