LaCour

A native to Houston, Texas, LaCour was born Damon LaCour Wattell on March 19. With the encouragements from his musically skilled father "Charles Wattell", LaCour remained active in talent shows as well as athletics throughout his intermediate to collegiate school years. Influenced by the burgeoning '80s and early '90s rap scene, LaCour began rapping at the age of 9. From a very young age, LaCour had a strong desire to perform and was destined to shine.

LaCour began his career as a member of a group called Unda Boss. After several years with this group, he envisioned the prospects of a better future by pursuing a solo career. With his prophetic and prolific style, LaCour goes against the normal southern hip-hop sound, producing a unique style all his own. With musical influences from Rakim, Nas, LL Cool J, Method Man, and The Notorious B.I.G, this vision of a better future will soon come to light.
