Ka'hryn

Grooming for this moment her entire life, Ka’hryn has been no stranger to the spotlight. A classically trained dancer beginning her training at the Harlem School of the Arts, she has been trained in ballet, tap and jazz from the age of three. Since 2003, Ka’hryn has held seven (7) pageant titles including becoming the first African-American Miss Cities of America Teen. There were over 400 girls competing, but Ka'hryn worked really hard to prepare. Winning just reaffirmed that there is nothing impossible. Unafraid of hard work, Ka’hryn maintains the same level of commitment and dedication in every show that she performs, in every song she writes, and in every song she sings.
Ka’hryn returned to Atlanta to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. Today, Ka’hryn is finishing the recording of her debut album, which will feature not only her vocals skills, but also her talent as a songwriter. As a songwriter, Ka’hyrn brings her real life situations and relatable experiences to her writing, and she will write or co-write every song on her debut album. Her debut maxi-CD, HataBlockaz, hit the radio airwaves, retail stores, and the World Wide Web in the Spring, 2007.
Ka’hryn has worked with artists such as tWillie Joe and Tango Redd, fusing together Hip-Hop and R&B with catchy mainstream melodies, which will attract a wide demographic. While finishing the recording of her debut album, Ka’hryn’s single, HataBlockaz, has begun to make its mark at radio, on the Internet, and among DJ’s across the country. Ka’hryn’s single HataBlockaz and the flip-side, Excuses featuring label-mate, Rob-U, has charted on several websites consistently since March, 2007, including American Idol Underground (www.idolunderground.com), UBL (www.ubl.com), GarageBand (www.garageband.com), and others. Additionally, with several radio stations across the South spinning her single, and record pools from Massachusetts to New York to Alabama to Florida to Los Angeles giving positive feedback on her songs, Ka’hryn is further inspired to making her goals of becoming a multi-faceted entertainer in music and film, as well as a prolific songwriter, realities.
