Julie's first single Tonight was recognized as a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest in the electronic category.

Assisting at a recording session for one of her biggest influences, Julie realized she had virtually no recorded material of her own. She decided to record her first single with producer Guy Parker whom she worked for at the time. In a strange twist, she hired her boss and is currently working with Guy on her EP. They are also working collaboratively on other material.

Julie's first single Tonight has been recognized as a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest in the electronic category. It is also receiving airplay on various streaming online radio stations on live365.com.

Julie has been selected to be featured in Skopemag.com's 'Artists To Watch'.

Her material has been gaining attention on Garageband.com. Tonight has been featured as Track of the Day, & Track of the Week and among various weekly reviewers' picks in the electronic category, including best female vocals, best programming, best mood and most original. Her song Nothing was also recognized as Track of the Day and among weekly reviewers' picks in the electronic category on Garageband.com, including best female vocals, best keyboards and most original.
