Taking the music business by glacier !! When Jeff Pedigo arrived in Nashville in 2003 he was impressed two days later when his hairstylist mentioned that they wrote songs. Always curious, Pedigo started reading any and every songwriting book he could get his hands on. Within weeks he started turning out lyrics. By the end of the year he had written the lyrics to several dozen songs and needed to find a collaborator that could write the music In December 2003 Pedigo joined Nashville Songwriter's Association International (NSAI) and started attending their workshops. In April 2004 he attended his first NSAI Songwriter's Symposium part of Tin Pan South, a major songwriter's festival. It was at this symposium where the introverted Pedigo met his future co-writer Parrish Stanton. Pedigo recalls, "I just forced myself to shake hands with the person sitting next to me at each session." At one of these sessions he shook Stanton's hand.

he attended his first NSAI Songwriter's Symposium part of Tin Pan South, a

Within a month the new songwriting duo would begin their first song. The
prolific duo of Pedigo and Stanton would go on to write more than a hundred
songs in their first year including DEAR SANTA.
Pedigo says his favorite songwriters are Bernie Taupin and Kris
Kristofferson. His musical influences include classic rock and classic
country. He has seven daughters and a son and lives in Brentwood, Tennessee
