Jailhouse Chili are John Cool (aka Yavor Velchev) and Constantine (aka Konstantin Bonchev), renowned across Belgium, Holland and Germany.

Style

The band’s sound is an eclectic fusion of almost all existing contemporary pop styles into natural and elegant music textures. The band is now working on their debut album After Foreplay. Their first single “Remember” is currently making Jailhouse Chili’s way through the media.

Repertoire

Added to their original music Jailhouse Chili’s repertoire of covers exceeds 120 songs to cover most tastes from the latest radio and TV chart hits back to originals of the 50s, 60s and 70s, including Jack Johnson, Ben, Harper, U2, Coldplay, Depeche Mode, INXS, The Beatles, Elvis, Lenny Kravitz, Sting, Frank Zappa, Prince, to name but a few.

History

Before creating the Jailhouse Chili in Sofia in 1999 John Cool and Constantine acquired prestigious and diverse experience performing in musicals, Eurovision entries and acapella quartets in their home country of Bulgaria.

Today, the group receives excellent acclaim from its audiences in the BENELUX countries where they enliven the atmosphere of any event with their
unique, electric style and charisma by the bucket load.
