Bio

Utilizing melodic vocals and a soaring guitar, Harlon Moss is quickly making a name for himself as an up and coming Contemporary Christian performer and songwriter in the South Texas area. Having been involved in music for most of his life, Harlon spent his early years in various country and rock bands – typical of those in the Texas music scene. With musical influences ranging from Steven Curtis Chapman, Phil Keaggy and Mark Shultz to John Denver, Steve Wariner and Boston, Harlon has created a Christian sound that fits in a wide range of musical genres.

Born in the small town of Sweeny, Tx in 1969, country music just seemed to be the natural transition for Harlon, as it is for most Texas musicians. However, after years of playing in clubs and bars, Harlon felt a calling to change the direction of his writings and music and return to God the abilities given to him.

“When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you’re born again. Well, the day I decided to give my music fully to God it was if my musical creativity and desire was born again. I believe it was no coincidence that new ideas started coming to me like never before.”

Harlon is a true believer in God’s will as the ultimate goal in his life - personally, professionally and musically.

“Whatever God has planned for my music is all I want. If that’s simply playing to my local church or to 20,000 people, as long as I’m doing His will it’s fine with me.

Harlon currently lives in Lake Jackson, Tx with
