They've been compared to Blind Melon, The Cash Brothers, Jellyfish, The Grateful Dead, The Byrds, Clem Snide, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Led Zeppelin, even Air and The Monkeys, but at the end of the day they are uniquely "Flame Sharkish."

As a quartet, they've only been together a little over a year, but they've already released three albums, toured the country three times, completed five videos and sold a trunk load full of discs and a few boxes of t-shirts, all done on a budget of pretty close to zero. Flame Shark says, "In a nutshell, here's what we want to get out of music, songwriting, recording and touring: We'd like the opportunity to continue to grow and prove ourselves. We'd like to be intimately and passionately involved in the day to day aspects of being full-time, working musicians. We want to learn, soak up the experiences and enjoy pursuing our passion. We're not looking for a golden ticket, we are looking for partners who share our vision, believe in what we're doing and will enjoy working alongside us to achieve shared goals.
