Felinity Biography

Elisabeth Pezouvanis and Alexandra Eisenstein met through Alexandra's sister Ingrid, whom Elisabeth took French and German with at the gymnasium. Felinity was formed in 2005 after Elisabeth and Alexandra had worked together in another music project. This inspired them to form a band and mix their song-writing skills. Both are educated musicians.

They found the drummer, Egghuvud, on a Swedish Internet community specialized in song-writing and music production.

Stray, the first demo, was finished in 2006.

We play some kind of electro-based pop with some guitars, both acoustic and distorted. Our sound can be described as dreamy, perhaps a little melancholic but hopeful at the same time. The symbol of Felinity is, as the name indicates, the cat. In our world cats stand for independency, bravery and curiosity, but also femininity.

Our first demo, Stray, is something of a mini concept album. Two songs about women who seek identity through sheer craziness.
