Bio

Elevative Thought started way back in good'ole 1992 when music production started to creep its way into computers. Music trackers such as FastTracker became my favorite pasttime.

In 1993 I joined what is called the 'Demoscene', which is a subculture of digital artists (programmers, musicians, 3d animators and 2d graphics artists).

Around 1995, the Demoscene became more fragmented and specialist groups had an uprise. Music groups, later called 'Net Labels' when the Internet grew popular, were highly popular. Infamous names are Radical Rhythms, Mono, Tokyo Dawn Records, Five Musicians.

In that period of time, I teamed up with Fabian 'Sonic' Scheepers and Roel 'Heretic' van Dijk which formed the basis of Destiny Music. My artist name back then was Dynamix.

In the period of 1995 to 2001, Destiny Music released approximately 115 productions together with international artists from Germany, Finland and Sweden.

After Destiny Music retired, I took a couple of years off of music. The major attraction to start producing music again was Propellerheads Reason.

This sparked such an amazing, creative energy that powered me to go back to producing music. In 2004, I started focussing more on professional music production and started assembling a project studio.

Some of the gear: Yamaha 01x. Elektron Machinedrum. Access Virus C. Roland XV5050. Lexicon MPX550. Korg X2. KRP monitors. Lots of cables and an oddly shaped room.
