A Little About Double Trouble

Double Trouble is a vocal and instrumental duo consisting of Diana "Di" Randall and Al David. They compose and perform in almost all major genres, with the exceptions of Gansta Rap and Opera.

Di chose to stay home and raise her three children and got into the music biz just a few years ago. She is a marvelous vocalist who knows very few genre barriers. Her voice lilts over the soft, sexy and sultry numbers yet is more than strong enough for those songs that rock, roll and smoke! She also writes a pretty darned good lyric. Sometimes her lyrics are whimsical and you can't help but smile...such as her lyric for their song "Strawberry Jello". She wrote the entire lyric in less than twenty minutes after having heard Al play his musical composition for it but one time.

Al David has been in the music biz for more than three decades. His first love is the guitar. He made his first dollar in the music biz when he was just fifteen years old. He lived in Germany for twelve years, where his band backed up many of the name country stars of the 70's and 80's. Although he started out playing country, Al plays and writes in most major genres, Smooth Jazz and Latin being two of his faves. Al has written more than six-hundred songs and co-written nearly a hundred more. He writes both lyrics and music composition.

Di and Al joined together in 2010 and have been composing and performing music together since then. Due to some health issues, traveling significant distances and touring to perform are no longer part of their iteneary. But they write and record in their home studio in Middle Tennessee almost every day.
