"Mystifying…methodical…voluptuous…whiplash movement. Each time the work seems to slide down, there is a surprise; a deepening in the awareness of a dancers depth or startling shift in Ms. Loret de Mola’s sense of movement."
(Gia Kourlas, NY Times)

The mission of danscores by Ofelia Loret de Mola is the creation of an energetic new repertory of dance-centered performance art. Loret de Mola looks at dance and contemporary life through the lenses of the vibrantly diverse New York City scene and the cultural continuum of her native Mexico. danscores engages modern dance technique together with multi-disciplinary collaborations. Dancers, composers and musicians, actors, writers, and visual artists (from plastic to video design) all rupture, sustain and meld their disciplinary vocabularies in quasi-narrative, quasi-abstract performance art. At the heart of danscores company is a deeply personal vision with growth, development, and exploration as founding metaphors.
