Danny Roberts has played with Tom Petty, Mike Campbell, Benmont Tench, Phil Seymour, Les Dudek, and the Derek Trucks Band, among others. Influences are everything from Robert Johnson to The Beatles to The Rolling Stones to Jeff Beck to Prince, to mention just a few. Equally adept at vocals,guitar & bass, DR also composes on keyboards and produces his music and other artists at his home-studio. He's been a shadowy fixture on the Southeastern music scene for almost 40 years. Once a musician, always a musician. Onward.

The Artist Currently Known as Danny Roberts is a - ahem! - seasoned veteran of the American music wolrd. (Yeah, that's how I'd like my press agent to put it.)
After playing in the late-60's jam-band "Power", DR hooked-up with Tom Petty, Mike Campbell, Benmont Tench & Randall Marsh in "Mudcrutch". Teamed-up with ex-Dwight Twilley side-kick, the late Phil Seymour to form "The FEEL". DR recorded & produced/played guitar on the demos that would lead to his first solo album.Later worked with former "Atlanta Rythym Section" drummer/writer Robert Nix, co-writing, arranging and playing on the Mercury Records release "Billy Joe Royal". DR got a call in the 90s that led to a 2-year stint with the "Derek Trucks Band". Was forced to be the "OTHER" guitarist opposite a young Derek, who is currently rehearsing for the "Eric Clapton" spring tour. DR is tired of standing in the shadows of greatness and is currently putting the finishing touches on his upcoming WeeDoggy!!!Productions-produced album, "MondoDejaVoodooRama-A-Go-Go".
