Bio

Since the very beginning, the band has received recognition from the music industry. Just six months old and after only one live performance together, the band was named finalists at the regional Gospel Music Association competition in Minneapolis. Probably the biggest award for the band came at the 1999 Christian Artists' Seminar in the Rockies. After finishing second in 1998, in both the band and songwriting competitions, they returned the next year and won the band competition. This award gave the band additional exposure and helped them land their first recording contract with True Tunes Records. Two years later they signed with Billy Smiley of "White Heart" fame on Culdesac records. DW plays 150 concerts a year.
