crossfire

Crossfire - we are Jan-Mary Wood and Kevin Foley - two local Yeppoon people who went to school together and met up again in 2003 and started playing as an acoustic duo. We have the same taste and feel for the music we play and started writing our own songs in 2004. Currently we have approximately 20 songs of original material and play covers as well. We have a passion for music and our songs show this.
Some of our songs are about love and hope, some are about sadness and despair - but all of them are about life and the here and now. Jenny's Mum is about an old lady left in a Nursing Home and because she had dementia she was disregarded. All she wanted to do was to go home - please listen to the lyrics of this song and allow yourself to visualize this woman's plight in our busy commercial world.
