Bio
Craig Padilla began playing guitar at age 5. During high school in 1986, he taught himself how to play the keyboard. His first compositions were publically heard on KCHO/KFPR's Music For A New Age (public radio show from Chico State University) and in various soundtracks for local television and theatrical shows. He has released numerous cassettes over the last 13 years which have all been limited runs and have all sold extremly well! His first CD "The Eye of the Storm" was produced & released in 1996 with the help of long-time collaborator Skip Murphy. Since arriving on the internet music scene in 1998, his music has reached a much larger audience and is getting excellent reviews! He continues to perform live around Northern California. Recently, Padilla's track "BEYOND BETA" with Skip Murphy was accepted for an incredible ambient collaboration CD called "PROJECT FARENHEIT" released by Infinium Records; he's been featured on the front cover of the UK's SEQUENCES magazine #24 featuring an unreleased track on the included CD; Padilla has an unreleased track featured on the incredible "TRACKS ACROSS THE UNIVERSE" book/3CD set by Jim Brenholts; Spotted Peccary Music, a highly respected new age/world/ambient label in southern CA, will be releasing Padilla's "VOSTOK," a CD consisting of one track running 52 minutes and created for infinite playback!
