Formed in 2002, the members of CAB RIDE came together after having been in a series of other musical outfits. Pierre, Jonathan and Kakei met while being in the group DIRECTION?. The three members shared the same musical vision and work ethic and decided to go out on their own and form CAB RIDE.

The musical style of CAB RIDE can best be described as Hard Rock with classic influences. The members are constantly looking for new ways to change the songs and keep things fresh while at the same time keeping the feel of those great classic songs. While maintaining the 'Rock', the members of CAB RIDE are not afraid of adding various other musical styles to their compositions in order to mix things up a bit and keep the writing process in constant evolution. The members of CAB RIDE tackle a wide range of issues in their compositions, from homelessness, to the personal conflicts that we have with each other and ourselves, to just rockin' good songs.
