i grew up hearing great 70s am radio on wfil.these songs were so tasty they just collected in my mind like so much rom on an ipod.lyrics were so good back then,they learned themselves.later i would listen to southern rock,progressive rock,british invasion hard rock and metal.jesus christ superstar all of it .took up singing one day at age 19 ,got heart stomped on started writing stuff down .had 6,000 lyrics by age 24.needed musical outlet taught myself keyboards for decades.started putting together songs before i could really play mine or anyone elses.started figuring out elton john songs and learned that most songs werent unlike my own ,now i have 100s of my own full songs that cover the gamut of genres listed above.i chose pop easy as my songs are easily listened to and rock and pop .even traditional ,oldschool,doo wop ,duets,xmas you name it .i listened to everything from aerosmith to zappa and the influences i have can be easily discerned from listening .spending decades alone,learning ,practicing ,writing ,singing and performing is a bad habit i got into ,waiting to be discovered but never trying to get my stuff out there is what makes me today ...a tree that falls in the forest.
im looking for the one deep thinking adventurous engineer producer who recognizes the depth of my convictions and wants to join me in a massive debut album that will be unlike most others.
the only dream ive ever had is to make music ,get paid,make more music,forever and ever.then help young people who like myself,havent had the oppertunity for various reasons like monetary restrictions.there should be MUSIC in schools as music is what saved my life .peace.
