Just when you think you’ve seen it all in 2001, Midwest rock/alt group “Boom Candle” explodes on the scene. Only five years young Boom Candle has managed to sell over 20,000 CD’s as well as maintain a national fan base unheard of by most unsigned groups. With a music style crossing over and between Matchbox 20 to Blink 182, has made Boom Candle one of the most recognized and decorated bands on the scene.

In 2000 Boom Candle entered themselves into 6 national talent showcases which they walked away with four first place titles and one runner up. Not to forget being crowned the “Big Break” champions in Grand Junction, Colorado over 1,586 other bands from all across the United States, all while writing and performing all original music. The group has also played shows with 38 special, Queensryche, Tesla, Skid Row, Slaughter, and many more including playing Cadott Rock Fest, Route 66 Music Fest, and Rock N The Country Fest all shows which are a national draw.

Boom Candle was formed in 1994 by 2 members from two different groups in Wisconsin, Lance Mundigler (drums) and Todd Kissinger (Bass). After a year or so the group felt like they were missing the right chemistry to set them apart from all of the rest, causing them to change its line up.
