Briefly about Bob

Bob was borrn in Scotland in 1967, moving to Tasmania with his family in 1979.

His early musical influences included The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Warren Zevon, The Band, Status Quo, David Bowie, Bob Dylan & Mick Taylor.

He bagan playing in bands at around the age of 16, all with relative success. He quit the band scene in the early 90s to focus on his nursing career, but still maintained regular solo acoustic performances.

He married his partner of 6 years in 1996 but was unfortunately divorced in 2002. He has two children with whom he has a close relationship with.

He has struggled with alcoholism for the majority of his adult life & it became rather severe since 2002, hence his almost non-existence on the musical front.

An extreme alcohol-related health scare saw Bob return to Stanley, where he first lived when he emigrated to Tasmania, primarily for reasons of physical safety & mental stability.

He began recording again when physically & mentally fit enough to do so primarily to divert his attention from the bottle. The nature & volume of responses Bob has recieved has led him to decide to comercially release "Straight Lines".
