BlackNovember

We are tied to no ideology or religion. Nor to any government or any people. We are not pawns - nor are we kings. We do not seek your revolution, for we do not believe in murder. We offer no sympathy for licensed killers regardless of the banner they carry. We do not live in the fog of hate. We believe life is sacred. To hate is to not live. To love is to live. Our anthem is humanity.

We are seekers. Of love. Of knowledge. Of wisdom. Of acceptance. Of good. Of peace. Justice, however, is not ours to give. Blood is not ours to draw. Life is not ours to take. Violence is the tool of animals and we do not accept it. Race is fiction and we do not acknowledge it. We live by the only human truth – the need to love and be loved. We realize the power of word – of language. Yet, we are not slaves to it.

Via art we seek understanding. Via understanding we seek progress and via progress we find the good. We are not elitists, we believe that art is a form of communication. When successful, it yields a dialogue between the artist and society and progresses an understanding of the human condition. We are a vessel – a means to an end – like the written word.

We do not seek victory – and for this we cannot be defeated.

We are BlackNovember.

Be Love,
