24-year-old singer/songwriter who has worked with world reknowned Iranian artists such as Bijan Mortazavi and has shared the staged with the likes of Sugar Ray, The Fully Down, The Revolution Smile and many more. Amir Khostavan was born in 1981 to a lead guitarist and a female vocalist, both of Iranian descent and began playing the piano at the age of two.

Since then, Amir has performed on countless Iranian television shows and live charity events, composed and produced his mother's international release entitled "New Beginning," and has been featured in recent articles published in the OCPC Magazine, The Mid East Cultural Connect and more.

Amir Khostavan Biography

Amir made his first television appearance at the age of six, where he performed his own composition entitled “Royaa.” Broadcast around California on the Iranian television program, “Jaam-E-Jam,” the performance unknowingly launched Amir into the world of music entertainment.

In the 18 years since that appearance, Amir has won district wide talent shows, awards from companies such as NEC Electronics for his original compositions in their presentation videos, wrote, recorded and released two albums independently from two different rock bands as well as assuming the role of producer/songwriter for his mother’s highly successful Iranian released record entitled “New Beginning.”

Aside from his musical talents (Amir has been playing piano since age 2, Drums since 6, Guitar since 12 and singing since 16), audiences have embraced him for his live performance. Whether it’s behind a guitar or the piano, Amir’s live show can only be described as energetic and intriguing to watch. He has shared the stage with bands such as Sugar Ray, The Fully Down, The Revolution Smile, Fair to Midland and much more. In the Iranian community, he’s had the distinct pleasure of working with artists such as Bijan Mortazavi, Jaklin, and much more.
