He likes writing for film for the same reason that he likes writing songs: it tells a story.
By the end of 2009 Russell had written several soundtracks and then arranged them into the soundtrack suite Dreams Without Pictures, published in 3 catalogs and available on CD and as digital downloads from Amazon, iTunes, etc.
His second soundtrack CD, A Parallel Universe , was completed in the following and now released as digital downloads from Amazon and iTunes. It contains genre-specific "songdbeds" - music that can be cued as instrumentals and also tracked as accompaniment for vocal songs.
