Agrippa93 (Uh'-GRIP-pah Ninety-Three) is an all original progressive industrial metal band from the Hartford area, making a name for themselves throughout Connecticut's live music scene.

Late 2009, with the new and solid lineup, marked a new direction for the band as a collaborative music force embracing a shift toward Progressive Industrial Metal, which has been described as a conglomeration of Megadeth, Dream Theater, and Rammstein. Agrippa93 has produced signature sounding songs such as "Forever Wasting Time" and "Pale Horse", demonstrating that they have evolved far beyond any previous incarnation.

Turning a piercing eye on today's world, A93's lyrics explores government corruption, environmental damages, the power of the supernatural, mysticism, science fiction, and the darker side of human psychology. The five-man live show brings listeners to their feet and sends them home with Agrippa93's unique and memorable sound ringing in their ears...

The Band

Agrippa93 (Uh'-GRIP-pah Ninety-Three) was founded as a solo project by lead singer, composer and producer "Agrippa" in Newington, CT in 2004. A long-time musician with a special interest in digital production, Agrippa began releasing original music exclusively through the Internet, with viral marketing picking up followers for singles and videos, with songs like "Beneath the Veil of Lies", "Open Wound" and "Scorched Earth" sparking interest through YouTube™ in recent years.

With growing demand for live performances, Agrippa sought out other like-minded musicians. Initially trying a "power trio" arrangement with guitarists Myk Dugan and Carlos Cabrero, Agrippa93 refined their sound and expanded their song list. By 2008 Agrippa93 had recorded collaborations including "City of Pyramids". The band expanded further after Cabrero departed for other projects, with new members joining the ranks and contributing to the Agrippa93 sound, which is a musical alchemy of Gothic metal, driving industrial beats and heavy-metal guitar that never overwhelm the haunting melodies and thoughtful subjects.

Today, Agrippa93 consists of Agrippa, Myk, newer members Galen Bessette, Alex Richard and Joe Deep. Agrippa93's recent CD Release, "Beneath the Cypress Tree ©" has garnered positive attention and reviews on iTunes™, Amazon™, and is the band's first dual release (both packaged CD and digital release). The 11 song CD on Sickle Pation Records® includes the band's trademark blend of the Gothic and Industrial, with classical riffs and soaring synthesizer work, led by Agrippa's unique voice delivering dark lyrics and thoughts on occult and the actions of mankind.
