Aaron Ball

"I can't count how many times I have been told that I am CRAZY to want to be a musician. I say, yep, but where would the world be without out crazy people?"

Based out of Twin Falls Idaho, Aaron Ball has been the singer/songwriter and front man for the regional group "Somewhere in the Middle" for several years. Although he started out his musical career in school with aspirations of becoming a jazz drummer, his passion for songwriting and storytelling sent him to the front of the stage with a guitar in his hands. Aaron's unique musical style and ability to speak to a variety of audiences has seen him lately sharing the stage with Blessid Union of Souls, Hawthorne Heights, Shinedown, Sick Puppies, Quietdrive, Too Slim and the Taildraggers, Jet Black Stare, Red, Sammus Theory, Great White, Royal Bliss, The Clumsy Lovers and John Cragie, as well as live appearances on NBC Channel 6, Fremont Street in Las Vegas, and in the Hard Rock Cafe in Salt Lake City Utah, along with his band being named one of the top 100 unsigned artists by the Independent Artist Registry this year. In his solo endeavors Aaron has been nominated for several acoustic awards including an IAMA, and SIAC entertainer of the year, and was invited to perform at the Amplify Independent Music Festival in Las Vegas. Aaron's music has become a staple for many local college fans at Idaho State University in Pocatello, and has earned him a regular guest spot on southeastern Idaho's Clear Channel radio station Star 98.5 fm and 99.9 the BUZZ.

Like many artists, it is hard to classify Aaron's music into one style. However, he credits Kevin Griffin of "Better than Ezra" and "Weezer" as major influences, and fits musically with the likes of Matchbox 20, Eve 6, The Calling, and Howie Day.

"My goal is to make music that not only sounds good, but that will inspire, encourage and carry a positive message that builds people up. Average, ordinary - they are the best of the worst and the worst of the best. I have bigger goals!"
