Bio

Troy Spiropoulos is a singer-songwriter from San Pedro, CAlifornia, who has been arranging and recording music since 1993. In additon to song-writing (acoustically and electrically, Troy has played Bass quitar for thirteen years contributing time and tracks as a sessioni player (larry smolinski-jetspeed records, 2000) as well as performing with various "rock" projects in the Los Angeles music scene over the last five years (lighterfluid, The Orphics, The Quick & The Dead, Paris Railroad, The D*Maggs, and Pow Wow). Themes of Troy's songwriting range from the topics mythology/theology to personal experiences and observations. With an approach to his composing quite unique, one can't help but notice the influences of artists such as Nick Drake and Arthur Lee in his work.
