I've written a #1 country hit ("Saying Hello, Saying I Love You, Saying Goodby") and a top 20 country hit for Lynn Anderson ("He Ain't You"), and co-wrote Lisa Hartman-Black's first solo album, all while collaborating with Hall of Fame songwriter Jeff Barry and with Dene Hofheinz Anton. I was under contract to Don Kirshner at the time.

Also, I was lead vocalist/pianist at the fifth-longest Broadway hit ever (Oh! Calcutta!), and composed a number of off-Broadway scores. Recently, I wrote a national award-winning children's book, published by Penguin ("Outside The Lines: Poetry At Play").
