Comprised of four highly talented musicians with a variety of musical tastes, Alan's focus lies in reshaping normal musical standards in an attempt to breathe new life into one of the oldest art forms. All members of Alan contribute their own types of individual vision, balancing equally and creating the sense of a true band.
Under the spotlight, singer/guitarist Chris Hardee illuminates the stage with a passionate presence that captures many audiences. Jeff Lowe, formerly of the band Flickerstick, has been perfecting the drums for over ten years. David Young provides a creative, classically-trained foundation that far exceeds conventional bass playing. Pianist and Violinist, Doug Polhamus, recently graduated with a degree in music composition from the University of North Texas.

Alan has contributed songs to soundtracks and helped score a handful of independent films aside from regularly performing live. Also in rotation on college radio, the band played by request at the KWBU 107.1 Freedom Concert in Waco, Texas. Alan can be heard regularly on KNTU 88.1 'Frequency Down' and KTCU 88.7 'The Choice.' Most recently, the FW Weekly 2003 and 2004 Music Awards nominated Chris as 'Best Male Vocalist.'
