2uce Betta (pronounced Duce Betta) is a talented young rapper originally from Indianapolis, IN. A troubled youth growing up, 2uce spent time behind bars, where he was completely immersed in a culture of rap. 2uce sharpened his skills on the talent of prison, and upon his release in 2003 he began a career in music. He cleaned up his troubled ways, and focused on solely music. Soon his skills had moved beyond rapping to producing as well. Now at the age of 20 2uce stands poised to make his mark on an industry begging for someone of his talent and charisma to step forward and emerge as the next dominant force on the rap scene.

Recently 2uce has temporarily relocated to Salt Lake City, to avoid distractions while he focuses on creating his solo debut.

Swiff Tha Gift Behind The Music

Writer. Producer. Songwriter. Swiff Tha Gift does it all. Musically gifted since birth, Swiff was raised in an environment that allowed him to explore his talents. His father, a drummer, taught Swiff the skills he would need to make music throughout his life.

At the age of 15, Swiff’s talents were begining to gain the attention of major scouts like Sug Knight, among others, but his father suggested they found their own record label instead. Everything was going according to plan until his father died suddenly of a diabetes related heart attack.

Swiff did not give up and pressed on with their dream of owning their own record label. He began to build his own, with financial assistance from one of his father’s closest friends. Swiff quickly built his studio, started producing tracks, and worked not only on his own act, but on cultivating others.

Everything was coming together until his benefactor was randomly murdered in an armed robbery. Another tragic setback, Swiff continued on until his studio was robbed, a few weeks later.

Refusing to quit on his quest toward a career in music, he has recently linked up with Attention Definite Studios, and specifically 2uce Betta. 2uce and Swiff have collaborated on some groundbreaking tracks, for their duo project, “Gift Rap: The 2uce Betta Show”, which is to be released this spring.

At the age of 19, Swiff has already been through a lifetime of setbacks and tragedies, but his music reflects his undying hunger. His tragedies have shifted to inspiration.

2uce Betta Behind the Music

2uce Betta’s road into the music industry has been a rocky one at best. Growing up without a father at home was a challenge, for his mother, and 2uce often acted out, knowing there was no one at home to provide the discipline he needed. 2uce was expelled from several schools for fighting, and was eventually arrested and sentenced to a year in Juvenile Detention at the age of 16.

A good rapper before his incarceration, 2uce used his time to focus on rapping. Juvenile Detention was like a “Rap University” . Never had he seen so much rapping talent gathered in the same place. Nothing special when he arrived, 2uce quickly began to excell in such a competatve environment. He eventually acheived celebrity status among his peers for being the most talented rapper in their unit.

When 2uce realized his potential for a better life through music, he straightened his troublemaking ways. He matured, and began to focus all his energy on being the best rapper/producer he could possibly be.

2uce’s abilities continued to grow, as he consistently challenged himself to come harder than he had before. He gained valuable experience working with a group of local rappers organized by his cousin. Over time, it became apparrent 2uce’s abilities were again heads above his peers and the group eventually dissolved.

But 2uce remained vigilant in his quest for a career in music, and his vision blossomed to a career in entertainment. He intends to use his music as a springboard into the entertainment industry, such as major acts like Ludacris, Method Man, and Jay-z.

2uce linked up with Attention Definite Studios, where he learned how to think big. As a means to get some published work under his belt, he contributed greatly to the studio album: “80HD”, which was already under production when he came aboard.

The album was released, and was submitted as an entry to the 49th Grammy Awards.
Next, he released his mixtape, “How I Roll”, and it was a hit locally in his hometown of Indianapolis.

Soon after the release of his mixtape, 2uce and Attention Definite Studios linked up with Swiff Tha Gift, and 2uce was finally able to spar with a worthy adversary. The two decided to co-produce an album together titled “Gift Rap: The 2uce Betta Show”, which is slated to be released in the Spring of ‘07.

Now, at the age of 20, 2uce is well on his way towards becoming a household name. His talent and dedication to his career are unmatched by that of his peers, and knowing where he came from is his daily motivation.
