1Enemy3 Bio

Although 1Enemy3 formed in April of 2004, they are just beginning to come into their own. After a few line-up changes, they are now a tightly wound group of five, all from diverse musical backgrounds. Their sound has been said to be influenced by Alice In Chains, Led Zeppelin, Pantera, and George Lynch. Every song is unique, but always melodic and hook heavy.
1Enemy3 was accepted for nine entries on the 2006 Grammy Ballot for tracks on their 2005 E.P., “1Enemy3”. The categories included: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Hard Rock Performance (3 entries), Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Album.
In June of 2006, they were chosen to open for Godsmack at The Sullivan Arena in Anchorage, Alaska. In previous bands, members have also opened arena shows for Motley Crue, Megadeth, and Dio.
1Enemy3 has played dozens of shows in all of the main-stream live music venues in Anchorage, Alaska including: Chilkoot Charlies, The O, and Club Elixir. They hold the record for the most people through the door at The O, over 1200 throughout the night. They are often asked to provide entertainment for events put on by 106.5 KWHL, and 94.7 KZND, the two largest rock radio stations in Anchorage, Alaska. They have received airplay, have been interviewed live on both stations, and have been featured in the Anchorage Daily News, The Anchorage Press, and AK This Month.
Their first full length album, “The Warning”, will be released in September 2006, and submitted for consideration on the 2008 Grammy Ballot. To support the album, 1Enemy3 will be embarking on an extensive Northwest/West Coast Tour beginning October 2006 to build a regional fan base, and will gradually increase the size of the circuit until the noise becomes so loud, it can no longer be denied.
1Enemy3’s goal is to become a National level act, performing arena shows multiple times per week. For the most up-to-date information on 1Enemy3 visit: http://www.myspace.com/1enemy3 & http://www.1enemy3.com. You can reach us at rock@1enemy3.com.
