Bio

16 Hour Drive is a pop-punk trio that hails from San Diego, California. Their catchy guitars and lyrics, sophisticated drums, intrigate bass lines and melodic vocal harmonies set this San Diego trio apart from your average Southern Cal punk band. The band has been hard at work playing shows, building a following, and in the studio recording their new album ‘Miles to Go’ under the creative and watchful eye of Producer/Engineer Steve Wetherbee 'POD' at Goldentrack Studios. The album was released in May of 2004 and has been making a statement with high record sales and high interest from some major key players in the music industry today The album follows up their self-titled EP which was released July 2003. Their self-titled EP has been distributed to over 60 college radio stations nationwide. Playing major venues such as The Roxy and The Whisky in Hollywood, and San Diego’s own SOMA Live, and appearing on major websites such as purevolume.com, 16 Hour Drive has also been hard at work with the diy approach and started their own record label as well as their own distribution company and had an overwhelmingly positive response from its fans as well as industry representatives. The band has a European tour booked for July 29 through Aug 15'. So look for 16 Hour Drive to be touring non-stop in a town near you.
