Bill Farrish grew up in Hewlett, NY, and began playing the guitar at the age of twelve.
Farrish performed as a sideman with drummers Bernard Purdie and David Garibaldi, Cecil Bridgewater and worked as a sideman for saxophonist Jimmy Halperin; a student of the legendary Lenny Tristano, During this same period Bill Farrish was with his own group performing regular gigs at Mikell's, The Angry Squire, and other NYC hot spots.
Television credits include Bea Moss Productions and The Carl Bruno Show - TCI Cable, TV. Bill was featured in an independently released production "An Evening with Bill Farrish" Raven Productions, QPTV. Bill also composed the theme and incidental music for The Park, Eun Kyung Show - Radio Seoul, Flushing NY.
