Info
Ben Coleman is originally from Fayetteville, NC. He grew up in a Christian home, but was hesitant to live that lifestyle. He had a hard time finding his identity and who he was supposed to be, so he did anything and everything to build his reputation to fit in, no matter what the consequences. At the age of fifteen, he really started to rebel making bad decisions. His life was out of control and... he was far away from God.
"Deep down I knew there was nothing to gain from a life of partying and drugs. I lacked purpose, peace, and joy in my life. I was starting to figure out that happiness didn't come from the fulfillment of sinful desires and life was not all about me."
Through many other life changing events, Ben began to see that God had a real plan and purpose for his life. "I decided to make my mess my message." The lyrics in this music are to challenge and encourage everyone to 'Do the Work' of the ministry in order to reach others for Christ. His artist name Benefit comes from
