Along the way somehow we find ourselves seeking out truth in life. Truth in some form or another . Meaning and emotion and the rellavance to something that stands out and is important to the human condition and to us all. We see it in others, in music, we recognize it . As if we are looking into ourselves. Theres no faking it. The meaning in which the members of the band Audiopilot is centered and balances.
When Audiopilot burst onto the indie scene in January of 2001 in Santa Barbara, California, they were quickly compared to the similarities of Radiohead, and the Smashing Pumpkins. Soon enough the band were making a name for themselves and establishing their own identity and sound. Audiopilot was quickly thrown into supporting such impacting acts like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Breeders, AM Radio, Summercamp, and Lapdog. Still the band was not just local hype.
