Song Description

I intended this to be a sad song with lyrics. Here are the lyrics: "Since You Left" Verse: Can't work nor sleep without tears. I have no joy, only just fears. My chest, ripped open and raw. As darkness opens it's maw. Since you left, I'm so bereft. Oh with you, part of me has left. Pre-Chorus: For the wounds are still there. Don't matter the why or where. Chorus: I miss my lil' girl since you left this, since you left this world. I miss my lil' girl since you left this, since you left this world. Verse: For there is only darkness, For I cannot see any light. The Ocean swallows me, as I tread in the dark sea. My life has lost all meaning, Towards death, I'm always leaning Pre-Chorus: For the wounds are still there. Don't matter the why or where. Chorus: I miss my lil' girl since you left this, since you left this world. I miss my lil' girl since you left this, since you left this world. Bridge: The mist clouds my sight. Since you left Burning in the eyes, Since you left My heart is hollow since you left. In a better place since you left us. Chorus: I miss my lil' girl since you left this, since you left this world. I miss my lil' girl since you left this, since you left this world.

Story Behind the Song

This is the instrumental of the song I'm working on, "Since You Left". A sad song dedicated to my daughter who died suddenly when she was only 21.
