Lyrics are thought provoking

    - Sonic

I think the rising and falling melodic line is very strong. Great vocal. Lovely acoustic guitar. I like the way extra instrumentation comes in at 0.24. There are some nice pauses which add tension. Nice instrumental bridge at 2.52. Very nicely recorded.

    - David James

Through a misty haze we see
The dawning of the day
Shunning the obstruction
On we go about our way

Bombs are flying-children dying
Thirst and hunger too
But with all of this injustice, we say
"What can one man do?"

So we turn our thoughts to what's at hand
And wallow in the rain
If only we could understand
The science of the pain
Maybe we could love and lose
And take it all in stride
Wouldn't it be better
If we weren't obsessed with pride?

Don't think too hard
Don't show your cards
Don't let them see
You falling down on your bended knees, no

When young and strong and fearless
Oh how victory abounds
But a winner is a loser
Who just hasn't been around
And how we deal with losing
Will determine who shall win
Isn't it ironic?
Tell me isn't it a sin?

Choices we have made
Can seem so right and be so wrong
But when you're young and bold
You seldom think too hard or long.
'Cause in a perfect world I guess
You're never gonna lose

Wouldn't life be easy
If we didn't have to choose?

Wouldn't life be easy
If we didn't have to choose?
