This song is about a couple who have been together for a while. There relationship has been going down hill but neither of them have mentioned it. She's been seeing someone else behind his back. He's had his suspicions that she's done this before but when she comes home on this fateful night the signs are so obvious that he finally decides he's had enough. He decided its the right time to call an end to the relationship and kicks her out so that he can start working toward getting his life back on track with a fresh start.
