Story Behind The Song
Nearly didn't happen. George Golla was called in at the last minute to cover for some tunes that didn't work out...We recorded it live and 2 others in 45 mins. The simplicity of the song is beautifull and lyrical. George's playing undersocres the vocals beautifully. George Golla is regarded as Australia's leading Guitarist. His long asociation with Don Burrows the legendary flute and Saxophonist is what he is best known for. Recording the song Blue Moon was a easy and wonderfull experience for Leonie, having such an experienced musician to work off.

Lyrics
BLUE MOON
Blue Moon,
You Saw me standing alone,
Without a dream in my heart,
Without a love of my own.
Blue Moon,
You knew just what I was there for,
You saw me sayin a prayer for,
Someone I really could care for.
And then Suddenly there appeared before me,
The only one my arms could ever hold,
I heard someone whisper please adore me,
And when I looked the moon had turned to Gold.
Blue Moon,
Now Im no longer alone,
Without a dream in my heart,
Without a love of my own.
(ending)
Without a dream in my heart,
Without a love of my own.
