Lyrics

I never knew the wind
Till it was blowing thru your hair
But I kinda had a hunch
That it was always there
Waiting for a day like this
To blow you into view
As if this were the plan
As if somebody knew

I hold you close
As life will allow
To Love in the Breath
The Essence of Now

I never knew the rain
Till I saw it on your face
When it crossed the softness in your smile
I knew this was the place
The one I had been looking for
And had been going to
As if this were the plan
As if somebody knew

I hold you close
As life will allow
To Love in the Breath
The Essence of Now

I never knew this love song
Till I felt it?s harmony
Wrap it?s arms all around
This lonely melody
Lacing me so Tight and Snug
Just like a missing shoe
As if this were the plan
As if somebody knew

I hold you close
As life will allow
To Love in the Breath
The Essence of Now

This composition offers a lovely use of the acoustic guitar. I enjoy hearing musicians who know how to use the guitar to generate a melodic hook. The vocal harmonies are beautifully sung. The recording is masterfully done. This is definitely a work worth a listen and would fit as a soundtrack or source music for a film or TV production. The lyrical hook is very strong and memorable. This is one of those songs that will stick with me for a long time. Hopefully, we'll hear more from this artist.

Very nice traditional folk song. Good vox and harmonies. If this is your preferred style of song writing you succeeded! This tune could easily work for many scenes in TV/Movies. Keep up the good work.

Very enchanting voice and very pretty tune. Sounds like a female version of Dan Fogelberg. Keeping it acoustic is a very nice touch. A complicated arrangement wouldn't work nearly as well with a piece like this.

"The essence of now" - WOW! what a line. What a hook.
Well done.

Killer song, lady!!
