Story Behind The Song
The lyrics come from the personal experiences of the authors. The chorus came to David "Drail" Peters as he and Demarco "Killa Graham" Graham listened to the beat while riding through the Holly Grove section of New Orleans. After an exhaustive search and audition for a singer, Ms. Toya Mero was selected and the song was recorded in the spring of 2011.- Herbie Spice Megistus
Song Description
This song is about trying to make a relationship work. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the parties involved, they "just can't get it right!"
The dilemma is that while the love is still there, sometimes couples just grow apart over a period of time. As a result this leads to the belief that "feelings change and they disappear."
