I wrote this while in a 6 week PTS(post-traumatic stress)recovery program at the VA. Part of the healing process is opening the dark doors that you want to keep closed.
Song Description
This song is about life and death, love and loss, and being the best we can in the little time we have living in the Valley of the Shadows...It also parallels life in a war zone for me.
