I am sorry I can't say that I feel the same way that the singer in the song does about her entire family. Yes I've had some good experiences with my parents and sister, but
this song puts perhaps a little far fetched slant on it. On playing it for lots of kids though, they adore this song. The ones that love the song that much, appear to of course, relate positively to their family and my song!
Song Description
The singer lovingly looks back at her glorious relationship with her family. That family includes her parents and a Cat. She goes on to say that she hopes that ALL of us, have great families like she's had!
I always want to tell a story with a moral in a kids song. In this, the moral may be is to appreciate our family, rather than look at the negative!
