Story Behind The Song

This was originally written as a poem and was later adapted into a song. It was an expression of the kind of love I hope to find and feel that everyone deserves. It is not that romanticized version of love that we often hear about or see on TV. Rather it is the kind of love I imagine is shared between two people who have been married for many years and even the silence has meaning for them. They are connected in ways most of us long to experience and it has nothing to do with sex or how the other looks, dresses etc. It is about two souls connecting in the beauty of love.

Song Description

The song is expressing a love so deep that the person feels they must have known their lover and loved them in other worlds. They have felt the presence of their lover all throughout their life. They even experienced their love in dreams, in untold stories, in lyrics and in meditation. They have felt this connection even in their moment of creation. So, the love is clearly the bliss of reunion when her soul returned home and found... "you".
