Story Behind The Song

My father and I are very stubborn people, and didn't really get along that well during my teenage years. Over the years, I learned to respect my dad's parenting decisions more, and we have become more open and loving with eachother. Once I got engaged, I wanted to write a song to my dad to let him know how much I love him, and how I understand how difficult it must be living with 3 women. I wanted to somehow apologize for all the grief I put him through when I was a teenager. I wanted him to know that I am truly happy with my life and thank him for everything that he has done for my mom, my sister, and myself.

This is a song that I wrote for my dad before my wedding last year. My husband played the guitar and recorded the song for me.
