Story Behind The Song

Just started writing on the ukulele in August. Started this song in LA as I packed up my things to move over to Scotland, and was finished with it by the time I arrived. (The bus ride from London to Inverness probably helped that process along.) Feel free to read into that what you will;)

That moment after a breakup when you figure out that whatever you've been holding onto is completely unnecessary and you are content and whole just as you are. Looking to the future instead of dwelling on the past.
