Story Behind The Song
This was the first song that I wrote on guitar. My mother actually wrote the lyrics and i modified them and wrote the music. My mother wrote the words when she was missing my father as they were seperated for several months.
Song Description
The first lines of the song are: "is it so bad to live in a dream? " This tells how much the person is missing someone; they would rather live in a dream than face reality with out them. She wants to meet the person she is missing in a dream and the world around her feels empty and cold, like a no man's land. But there is hope becuase she still has her dreams that she can meet that someone in and those dreams will get her through this time. In the bridge of the song though, she becomes desperate to reach out and touch the person she is missing, and in the end wonders "why did we say goodbye?"
