Spring

Story Behind The Song

Alex Peers, contemporary Native American flutist and Johnna Jeong, master guitarist, collaborate on one of four pieces in an improvisational suite depicting the seasons. Going into the studio with only an eight-measure beginning to the piece, we allowed the remainder of the song to come from the heart, in a single take. The mix was given to graduate student Kim LaMonde of Georgia State Univerity, who added her talent to the mix with the cello.
