Story Behind The Song
Wrote this song on a rooftop in Barcelona whilst visiting an ex guitar student. Bleached walls and hot sun made me happy and so the song was happy and simple like my mood.
Song Description
Big brother bought me a mandolin and I bought myself an acoustic bass so set about writing a surreal upbeat song to make people happy.

Lyrics
A brand new day a brand new vision
I saw this procedure on Spanish Television
I'm no dr but I'll give it a whirl,
hold on tight cause its going to hurt.
The sun comes up my eyes are kinda blurry
what time is it, its always a worry
what did I do before I went to sleep
something silly or something deep
Dreams of flying, dreams of you
the sea is cold but the sky is blue
How did I fall in love so soon
seems quite natural, I feel true.
The wind blows strong the spring tides splashing
the water's cold like its going out of fashion
Duck dive quick, a head of ice cream
Turn for the move it could be a dream
Fluid gravity makes me soar
I crash to the sand but still want more
a seal pops its head by the light of the moon
I can't be touched when I'm in the green room.
A brand new day a brand new vision
Work/Kirk or play make the decision
I'm no lawyer but I'll give it a whirl
Close my eyes and let it all unfurl
Fluid Gravity makes me soar
I crash to the sand and still want more
a seal pops its head by the light of the moon
I can't be touched when I'm in the green room.
